Abstract

This paper aims at measuring the level of automation in various activities in the production process of project information in architectural/engineering (A/E) consulting offices in Saudi Arabia. The findings reveal that although Saudi Arabian A/E offices have a high level of IT usage in some areas, such as drafting, less attention has been given to the utilisation of this technology in exchanging and co-ordinating information among project participants.
