title = "Knowledge-based risk processes associated with risk analysis for an information systems projects success",
abstract = "All Information Systems (IS) projects involve risk due to project uniqueness, uncertainty about ultimate results will always accompany IS development. Today's modern, industrialized society is based on globalization with a high level of competition and risk. Knowledge-based risk processes are becoming a key factor within organizations because they can minimize the probability and impact of information technology (IT) project threats and capture opportunities during the life cycle of an IT project. knowledge as a reason to decrease risk, and, therefore, risk modeling is one of the pieces of knowledge to retain. Knowledge-based risk processes are appropriate key elements within organizations since they can minimize the possibility of information systems (IS) project failure and can capture the opportunities that may occur during IS project processes. Therefore, knowledge-based risk processes and a knowledge-based risk repository are extensively used in IS projects to successfully support risk analysis. The purpose of this paper is a tentative to define and explore how a combination of knowledge-based risk processes and a knowledge-based risk repository can successfully support risk analysis.",
