Abstract

The effects of electric field frequency, temperature and aging time on the ion-exchange conduction and dielectric properties in PVC-mica composite membranes were investigated using the impedance technique. Results indicated that temperature and aging enhanced the ionic conduction which took place under the applied electric field of different frequencies. Alternating current conductivity increased and activation energy decreased with temperatures due to enhancement of ionic conduction.
