Abstract

Linear gas and liquid velocity distributions and liquid or gas volume void fraction in a fully developed dispersed two-phase flow were measured using a system consisting of a Pitot tube associated with a hot film anemometer. This measurement system was shown to be adequate. Correlations for the flow behaviour were developed. (from paper).
