Abstract
Optical wireless power transfer (OWPT) using laser illumination has emerged as a promising alternative for energy delivery in environments where conventional wireless methods face strong limitations, such as underwater. In this work, we demonstrate screen-printed cesium lead bromide (CsPbBr3) perovskite solar cells as receivers for blue-laserdriven OWPT. The fabricated devices exhibit a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 5.01% under 405-nm laser excitation, nearly double their performance under AM 1.5G illumination (2.24%). This enhancement arises from efficient absorption of above-bandgap photons and increased photocurrent density. The devices maintained stable output with varying laser distance and continuous illumination, confirming their operational robustness. Importantly, epoxyencapsulated CsPbBr3 solar cells operated reliably when immersed in water, achieving comparable efficiency to operation in air. These findings establish CsPbBr3 photovoltaics as strong candidates for practical OWPT applications, particularly in underwater environments.
