Abstract

The nonlinear performance of the simple and complementary MOSFET current mirrors are analyzed. Closed-form expressions are obtained for the harmonic and intermodulation components resulting from a multisinusoidal input current. These expressions can be used for predicting the limiting values of the input current under prespecified conditions of threshold-voltage mismatches and/or transconductance mismatches. The case of a single input sinusoid is discussed in detail and the results are compared with SPICE simulatons.
