Abstract

A wide range of latest technological developments in hydraulics and the forecast for the future developement of technology are discussed. The ultra-valve is a pressure-balanced, thermostatically controlled value that uses microprocessor that monitors the water temperture supplied by continuously adjusting the valve to maintain the set point. No touch system use infrared, light, sonar, or radar sensors to activate the plumbing fixture. Infrared systems are suitable for individual control of single-station fixtures as laboratories, urinals.
