Abstract
With the widespread use of smartphones for social networking and the storage of personal data, these devices have become an indispensable component of everyday life. The analysis of social media sites’ tools on Android-powered smartphones is the main goal of this study. Digital device inspection becomes essential due to the increase in cybercrimes linked to these platforms. The purpose of the study is to determine how social media apps affect account information, message exchanges, activity logs, and other smartphone data. Investigating mobile devices for forensics focuses this research on addressing technological issues by using contemporary methods for data extraction and analysis to examine the effects of social platforms on Android phones. This work is important not only for forensic science but also for the social sciences, psychology, and technology design since it provides specific insights. Gaining insight into the correlation between social media platforms and cellphones enhances our understanding of the digital age. The expected outcomes would advance the field of social media forensic science and clarify the complex relationship between technology and society.
