Generation of harmonic and intermodulation products in velocity modulation microwave devices

Abstract

This paper deals with the large-signal analysis of velocity modulation microwave devices. Expressions are obtained for the harmonic and intermodulation current components of the velocity modulation devices excited by multisinusoidal microwave signals. The special case of relatively small input amplitudes is considered and the results are compared with previously published results.
