Abstract
We establish a general decay rate for a viscoelastic problem with a nonlinear boundary feedback and a relaxation function satisfying g ′ (t) ≤ −ξ(t)g p (t), t ≥ 0, 1 ≤ p < 3/2. This work generalizes and improves earlier results in the literature. In particular those of [5], [11] and [17].
