FSO Beam Propagation Analysis for Fog Attenuation and Atmospheric Fluctuations under Controlled Environment

Abstract

A fog attenuation model for 633-nm beam propagated through atmospheric chamber is proposed and compared with Kim's model for 1-km visibility. Cn2 has been calculated using the measured data to determine Fried Parameter and atmospheric turbulence.
