Abstract

This paper presents the effect of a single and dual section L-matching output matching networks (OMN) using ideal lumped elements, on the impedance matching fractional bandwidth. The single and dual section L-matching networks were designed for resistive load configuration at 2.5GHz. The analysis showed that the dual section Lowpass L-matching network offers higher fractional bandwidth performance in terms of output power delivered to the resistive load (PdL) when compared to its single section Lowpass L-matching network counterpart.
