Abstract

A recent stochastic formulation of the surface rejuvenation model is used in the development of relationships for epsilon //M and epsilon //H. This analysis relates these important quantities physically meaningful and measurable parameters. The prediction for epsilon //M and epsilon //H are in reasonable agreement with previous empirical correlations for a broad range of Prandtl numbers.
