Abstract

Heat transfer in fluid flow processes can be divided into two types based on the mechanisms namely, between two fluids and the fluids separated by the channel. Nusselt number, Reynolds number, and friction factor are used to measure the flow properties. According to distinct relations, the heat transfer and Nusselt number are discussed in the chapter. The average Nusselt number and the relationship between Reynolds number, friction factor, and average heat transfer coefficient are furnished in detail.
