Abstract
The paper presents an overview of the available water resource alternatives within the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia and the reliability of such alternative sources to meet future demands. The economic and technical feasibility of unconventional alternatives are also discussed. Methods of resource conservation such as implementation of pricing policy and the introduction of physical conservation techniques in the water supply system are also reviewed. (from paper)
