Abstract

A computational algorithm for the determination of transient stability domain for multimachine powersystems considering the governor-turbine dynamics based on the Lyapunov function of the Lure'type is proposed. The problem of determination of stability domain is posed as a sequence of supproblems with associated lower bounds of potential energy and ordering of the lower bounds is used in its resolution.
