N2 - The aerodynamic forces on the body are due entirely to two basic sources: firstly, pressure distribution over the body surface, and secondly shear stress distribution over the body surface. The net effect of the pressure distributions over the whole body surface is one of the most important factor to characterize any wing by the aerodynamic properties. Pressure distributions on the body surface of NACA 4315 inflatable wing model has been investigated in this research work. A new simplified pressure measurement methodology, Vertical Probe Method (VPM), also been discussed in this paper which is suitable for inflatable surface pressure measurement. The Vertical Probe Method measurement data is quite satisfactory compare to conventional pressure measurement method. The VPM is also applicable for rigid/solid surface pressure measurement without drilling pressure probe on the measuring surface.
