Abstract

Mobile-Learning (M-learning) provides effective business opportunities with the support of wireless technologies such as web pads, mobile phones, wearable devices and one-time curiosities. This has changed the nature of organizational training, performance, management and collaboration. On-the-go training adds a lot of appeal to the learning curve, especially in this modern time. The review of the normative literature indicates that very limited research is conducted on mobile learning in the context of small business. Thus, this paper draws upon research, conducted in Pakistan, exploring the strengths of mobile learning in the context of small business. In doing so, the authors developed m-learning application and evaluated the same at franchise outlet in Pakistan. The preliminary results of this research proved satisfactory in terms of flexibility, ease of sale training at anywhere and anytime basis. This shows that that there are significant opportunities for small scale organization to deploy such application.
