Abstract
A novel gear pump, utilizing epicyclic gear motion, is presented in this paper. It is a positive displacement pump. In terms of volumetric displacement, it has performance resembling that of a piston pump, however, unlike the latter, it has no linear reciprocal motion, just rotation.
