Abstract
The energy spectrum of fast neutrons produced in the T(d,n)4He reaction with 150 keV deuterons was measured at the 350 keV accelerator of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) using the activation foil technique. The Zr and Nb foils were sandwiched between Al foils and were mounted at 0°, 70°, 90°, 110° and 150° with respect to the incident deuteron beam axis. The foils were irradiated for several hours. The neutron energies were determined from the intensities of 909 keV and 934 keV γ-lìnes of 89Zr and 92mNb isotopes. The measured energy distribution is in agreement with the published data within 1% uncertainty.
