Abstract

Seismic method has been used in many near-surface applications such as shallow geology and geotechnical applications. The resolution of the final tomogram depends on the quality of the data and the inversion technique used. In this work we discuss four different inversion techniques applied on three field examples. Advantages and challenges of each inversion technique is discussed as well as the resolution of its corresponding tomogram.
