Abstract
In the current research work, three heat treatments have been conducted over the sputtered AlN surface at two different temperatures. After that, the wettability behavior of the surface has been analyzed with the context of various surface roughness parameters and surface morphologies. In the research work, experimental design was employed at the varying heat treatment parameters, such as temperature and duration, to observe changes in surface energy and WCA of the AlN-sputtered Aluminium. The outcome of this study will provide valuable insights into the adjustments in surface properties of AlN-coated aluminium resulting from heat treatment. This research also contributed to the comprehensive understanding of the interplay between thermal processing and wettability, with potential applications in optimizing the performance and durability of AlN-coated materials. Such insights are particularly relevant in fields where controlled wettability is essential, such as electronic packaging, thermal management, and corrosion resistance.
