Abstract

Time-series models are fitted to electrical load demand and ambient temperature using the dynamic data system methodology to identify the dynamic features of demand and temperature and to evaluate the impact of temperature dynamics on load demand. The models are used to forecast demand and the results agree closely with the actual data.
