Abstract
Distributed control systems (DCSs) with norm bounded parametric uncertainties and intrinsic time delays in subsystems and in their interactions are considered. Nonlinearities satisfy the generalized Lipschitz condition and assumption that states and parameters can be decoupled is taken into account. The problem of observer and controller design is dealt simultaneously and robust adaptive observer-based controller is designed. Linear matrix inequality (LMI) based results with equality constraints are derived, which not only estimate the states that are not available at output, but also stabilize the system though there are some unknown parameters. The efficiency of the approach is shown through an illustrative example.
