Abstract

The rapid digital transformation of modern society has necessitated the development of innovative solutions for immersive virtual spaces. This paper presents the design and implementation of the KOLD telepresence suit, a pioneering hardware system created to enhance interaction within the HolNetVerse, a virtual space paradigm. Developed within the MEGANET LAB 6G framework, the KOLD suit leverages advanced haptic feedback systems and precise motion tracking technologies to enable lifelike telepresence. The suit is designed for diverse applications, including telemedicine, professional simulations, and virtual conferences, providing users with a safe and controlled environment for real-time interaction. By integrating high-torque servos and miniature potentiometers, the suit ensures natural movement while maintaining high fidelity in virtual interactions. This work contributes to the evolving landscape of extended reality (XR) applications by offering an optimized, autonomous telepresence solution that bridges the gap between physical and digital worlds. The research outlines the technical specifications, system architecture, and potential use cases, positioning the KOLD suit as a significant advancement in telepresence technology.
