Abstract
A perennial problem in the processing and interpretation of seismic data from the Cooper-Eromanga Basin is the estimation and subsequent removal of the wavelet phase. There are many non-geological factors such as vibrator coupling, geophone characteristics, anelastic absorption, instrument response and processing sequence which affect the wavelet phase.
