Abstract
The multi zone space heating system (MZSH) is an interconnected dynamical system subject to external disturbances and input saturation. In this paper, the problem of temperature control design in MZSH is investigated. The design of decentralized Hinfin controllers are tackled using an iterative-procedure based on the homotopy method. Numerical simulation are presented and compared with an improved decentralized method based on linear quadratic theory to show the efficacy of the developed approach.
