Curvature collineations of cylindrically symmetric static space-times

Abstract

Space-times admitting general cylindrical and static symmetry are investigated and classified according to their curvature collineations. We find that these space-times can admit 10, 7, 6, and 4 CCS only. In this classification we also see some additional space-times which admit arbitrary CC symmetry.
