N2 - A crystallochemical study of the mixed orthophosphates LiM1-xMx'PO4(M, M'= Mn, Co, Ni ; 0≤x≤1) using X-ray diffraction, shows that the three systems are isostructural to olivine. The results of the magnetic susceptibility and specific heat of Li(Mn,Co)0.5PO4, Li(Mn,Ni)0.5PO4 and Li(Co,Ni)0.5PO4 exhibit an antiferromagnetic behaviour at low temperature.
