Abstract

The production of EPR pairs and coulomb scattering in a 2D interacting electron gas were investigated. The scattering amplitude was calculated via the Bethe-Salpeter equation in the ladder approximation and small rs limit. The current of spin-entangled electrons was estimated from the scattering length. The results show that the Fermi sea leads to a substantial renormalization of the bare scattering process.
