Corrigendum to “Surface cracks repair in AA6061-T6 aluminum alloys using friction stir processing” (Journal of Advanced Joining Processes, (2025), 12, C, (100340), (S2666330925000615), 10.1016/j.jajp.2025.100340)

The authors regret for the typo error in affiliation index for co-author Rami K. Suleiman, as he is affiliated to the Interdisciplinary Research Center in Advanced Materials, and not Mechanical Engineering. The authors also regret the typographical error in Fig. 3(d) where the unit of the scale bar is not clear, which results in wrong interpretation of the results. The correct Fig. 3(b) is presented below. The authors also regret the unclarity of Fig. 9(b) due to unintentional scaling of the figure, as the current one does not clearly define the discussion on page 9. Below is the correct thermal image along with Maximum temperature history (Fig. 9). Lastly we apologize for missing the correct units on y-axis in both Figs. 10 and 11, and the corrected one could be found below. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
