Abstract

The authors regret that the 29Si and 27Al NMR plots (Fig. S.2) from Jackson et al. (2013) (Fig. 8) (incorrectly referenced as 2012a, 2012b) were cited incorrectly as pertaining to a bulk sample of ‘Roman Concrete.’ Instead, these plots pertain to Al-tobermorite crystals, a mineral phase found in ancient Roman marine concrete. Fig. S.2 should reference Jackson et al. (2013) (Fig. 8). The authors would like to highlight that the results, discussions, and conclusions communicated in the manuscript are not influenced by these errors.
