N2 - The authors regret some unintentional errors identified in our published manuscript. We sincerely apologize for these oversights during the submission and review process and assure all parties that we will exercise greater diligence in future submissions. Upon careful post-publication review, we discovered that the Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS) data presented in Fig. 1e–g for the ZrTe2/rGO material was incorrect. This occurred due to a student error in which EDS data from a different material was inadvertently included. As our characterization data are typically obtained in bulk from international collaborators, this mix-up unfortunately went unnoticed during result compilation, leading to the misplacement of the EDS data and corresponding labels.[Figure presented] Additionally, in Fig. 2a, the baseline correction applied to the X-ray Diffraction (XRD) spectra may have caused confusion for readers. We have now provided a revised figure that includes the unprocessed XRD spectra (i.e., without baseline correction). In Fig. 2c, baseline correction was also applied to the X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) survey spectrum, which led to slight deviations from the original data representation.[Figure presented] A similar issue occurred with the post-stability XRD analysis shown in Figure 6c, where baseline correction caused minor deviations. To ensure full transparency and accuracy, we are now providing the original, unprocessed data (without baseline correction) for EDS, XPS survey spectrum XRD analysis, and post-stability XRD analysis in the revised figures.[Figure presented] We regret these errors and appreciate the opportunity to correct the record. The overall conclusions and scientific validity of the manuscript remain unaffected. We emphasize that these corrections do not alter the scientific discussion, results, or the overall conclusions of the manuscript. The integrity and validity of the findings remain unaffected. The authors would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.
