Abstract

The publication of this article unfortunately contained mistakes. One sentence in conclusion part was not correct. The corrected sentence is given below. Incorrect sentence: The charge transfer resistance (_R_ct) of the joint was higher (118 Ω) compared to base metal (242 Ω) which further confirms that the joint has a higher susceptibility to pitting corrosion. Correct sentence: The charge transfer resistance (_R_ct) of the joint was lower (118 Ω) compared to base metal (242 Ω) which further confirms that the joint has a higher susceptibility to pitting corrosion. The original article has been corrected.
