Abstract
Laser drilling involves with multiphysics phenomena, which require careful examination of each physical process for improved end product quality. The laser workpiece interaction is governed by solid heating, phase change and plasma formation at the surface. Since the physical processes are complicated, the closed form solutions incorporating the analytical methods do not provide the accurate results.
