Abstract
Water projects are important in the Arab Gulf and represent a large portion of the area's construction budgets. Developing a reliable cost estimating tool for water projects is important for capital budgeting and other early planning functions. This article presents a conceptual cost estimating model for water projects in the Sultanate of Oman; this model was developed through an analysis of historical data by the multiple regression technique.
