Abstract

This paper describes different techniques of OFDM-CDMA communication and compares the performance of these techniques using Matlab simulation. OFDM-CDMA inherits the anti multi path fading ability of OFDM technology as well as the high user capacity of CDMA. It can be used principally in mobile communication with joint time and frequency spreading. The high spectral efficiency in spectrum reuse is achieved by exploiting both the temporal and spectral characteristics of the multi-path fading channels suitable for high data rate applications. OFDM-CDMA systems employ the OFDM technique to resolve the frequency selectivity in multi path fading channels and have good spectral properties.
