Abstract
The aircraft tyre replacement policy in the Saudi aviation facility was compared with that of international standard policy. The costs and the reliability factors of the tyres were also studied. Some of the other procedures and international policy for tyre inspection and replacement examined were the wheels for cracks, overheating, abnormality and checking of tyre pressures within specified limits. It was suggested that the extra costs can provide higher reliability and safety to the aircrafts.
