Abstract
Common amplification of one large signal and small signals in a bandpass non-linear amplifier with amplitude non-linearity and AM/PM conversion is analyzed using a simple, general approach. Despite the amplifier non-linearities and the strong interfering signal, the weak signal emerges undistorted, suffering only a constant phase shift. The analysis yields also the output intermodulation products of any order.
