Abstract

Cathodic protection (CP) is becoming an increasingly popular and effective technique for inhibiting the corrosion of steel in reinforced concrete structures. The mechanism of CP and available systems are outlined, with the control methods and criteria for the protection of steel discussed. (from authors' abstract)
