Abstract

The purpose of this study was: to evaluate the feasibility of combined carbonaceous matter and phosphorus removal of a saline domestic wastewater with RBC without recycle system, and lime precipitation using only one settling tank; and to find out the optimum design and operational parameters for RBC system treating domestic waste-water to achieve carbonaceous removal alone and in combination with phosphorus removal.
