Abstract
This is especially true in the modern world, which relies on electricity for almost everything. The low supply in many developing countries could prove to be a problem in the near future. Relying on fossil fuels is not a feasible option, and this has put a lot of pressure on the development of green energy. This is where DC Microgrids (DCMGs) play a role in harnessing green energy, but it has efficiency limitations. Renewable energy is being used for DCMGs, especially in remote areas, and it is being used on a large scale. The reliability of these microgrids relies on the battery storage capacity, which in turn relies on the nature of the energy source. It has limitations in terms of overcharging, as it could pose a security risk. Increasing the storage capacity is expensive, but linking microgrids can increase the discharge capacity. This can be done in times of abundance or scarcity. In order for there to be effective control of the power, within and outside microgrids, a good control strategy is required. This project proposes an interconnection method that does not require any communication, thus making it simpler. The duty cycle D is between 0 and 1, and it has to be greater in magnitude than the input voltage. The negative sign indicates the direction of the voltage.
