Abstract
This paper describes the results of a development program designed to produce better aluminium alloys for applications in desalination plants and brackish water environments. On the basis of the results obtained from polarization, potential-time, long term exposure and metallographic studies, the modified alloy 2778 CR appears to show promising application potentials.
