Abstract

As is the case for other types of solar energy, economics has severely limited the exploitation of wind energy to a few special situations. Thus a tremendous energy source is wasted. One of the most costly aspects of a wind energy system is that of energy storage. It is suggested that wind energy be utilized by systems having an inherent storage medium. One such system is studied in this paper.
