Abstract
The basic ″and/or″ structure and economic considerations of programmable logic arrays impose limitations on their realizable functions. This paper considers an extension of versatility by means of a threshold logic structure. The I**2L technology seems most suitable for threshold logic gates and therefore is considered. The structure of such programmable logic arrays is described.
