Abstract
A cubic equation of state (EOS) recently proposed by the authors has been applied to the calculation of VLE of H2S-containing systems. Mixtures of H2S + hydrocarbons have been systematically studied and correlations for the interaction parameter are proposed. Comparison with other four well known EOS has been done. Other miscellaneous H2S systems have been also analysed. It is concluded that the new equation performs better than other cubic equations for the systems considered here.
