Abstract

The residual stresses in Y123 and Y123/ Ag2O HTSC were measured and calculated using XRD and sin2 ψ analysis. This addition of silver oxide to Y123 was found to affect both the stress coefficients and the anisotropic ratio of the stress along the c-axis relative to the a-axis.
