An improved approximation to the psi and the riemann zeta functions

Abstract

Concise approximations to the psi and the Riemann Zeta functions are presented. Errors are contained within 2∙3 and 3 per cent respectively. The approximations can be easily implemented on a scientific programmable pocket calculator.
