Abstract

The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used for evaluating the past performance of potential building contractors. The evaluation model takes account of a range of contractors' characteristics. A hierarchical structure is constructed for the performance criteria and the contractors are rated for each criterion. The analytical hierarchy process enables an impartial decision to be made and justified. Copyright
