Abstract

The structural description of a reduced-order version of the world integrated system model is presented. To construct this simplified model, proper aggregation of the global model variables is performed while preserving the basic key features. The developed model is conceived in a three-level hierarchical structure whereby the lower level contains the different regional submodels, the intermediate level comprises the world trade module and at the higher level a financial aid and load model is specified.
